Lubok Verlag @ the INDEPENDENT

Those of you in New York should check out Leipzig's Lubok Verlag table at the INDEPENDENT art fair this week. It's at the former DIA Center of the Arts, from March 4-7th. They've released a bunch of new books since their appearance at the Printed Matter Book Fair last fall, and we wish we could attend.

The INDEPENDENT is open to the public free of charge, and I'd recommend checking out their public programs schedule—lots of interesting panels.

Peter Coffin at the Guggenheim

Peter Coffin (Issue 5) is a part of the Guggenheim’s current show, Contemplating the Void. For the exhibit, which marks the building’s 50th anniversary, nearly two hundred artists, architects, and designers were invited to imagine their dream interventions in the rotunda of the space.

Here’s hoping that 2010 will be the year of Blues.
