Harmony Korine for Proenza Schouler

New York design duo Proenza Schouler teamed up with Harmony Korine (Issue 3) who shot a short film in Nashville for their Fall/Winter 2010 collection.

Act Da Fool is a series of 8mm vignettes featuring rebellious teen girls in their local neighbourhood. According to the director, the film, airing in September: “[Is] about girls who sleep in abandoned cars and set things on fire. It’s about the great things in life. The stars in the sky and lots of malt liquor.”

Peter Saville—Accessories To An Artwork

Peter Saville opens a new exhibition at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller in East Hampton next week with Accessories To An Artwork, as he displays his custom-designed minimal white plinths to showcase the works of invited artists to his showcase, including: Tauba Auerbach, Matthew Barney, Brendan Fowler (Issue 7), Richard Kern, Sean Landers, Ryan McGinley, Ryan McGinness, Richard Prince, Lawrence Weiner, and Kim Gordon, just to name a few. The artists will be allowed to pick the work of their choice to be displayed on their plinth.
