It’s been said, but on this Canada Day weekend, we’re still finding ourselves saddened by the possible closing of This Ain’t The Rosedale Library, one of our first supporters, and one of the best bookstores in our fair country. They’ve even been ranked one of the top ten bookstores in the world. Not sure if there’s much to be done, but please try and support this local institution, or at least stop by and pay it a visit of appreciation before it’s too late.

Our friends at Bidoun Magazine have opened a great storefront location in Chinatown, where you can pick up first grabs of their latest issues, plus back issues, nice totes, tees, posters and more. Can’t wait to stop by and check it out, find them at 47 Orchard Street.

One of our favourite independent art publishers, Rollo Press, is participating in this year’s Art Basel in its new Off Press section. Published on the occasion of this event, Rollo has released a limited edition box set of Issue 6 contributor Linus Bill’s Tu M'as Volé Mon Vélo.
