We're also excited to have performances by Trust, as well as awesome guest DJs, and the possibility of seeing red carpet celebs. We'll be hosting a great raffle with $2 tickets, too. Charlie White: Casting Call

Charlie White’s Casting Call is taking place on September 11th at LAXART, and will be a daylong event aimed at locating one “California Girl” between the ages of 13—16 to appear on a billboard as part of the LAXART Billboard Project series. This live performance will invite viewers into the casting process, the main exhibition space will be divided into two areas: a casting office on one side, and a public viewing room for onlookers on the other. Peter Saville—Accessories To An Artwork

Peter Saville opens a new exhibition at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller in East Hampton next week with Accessories To An Artwork, as he displays his custom-designed minimal white plinths to showcase the works of invited artists to his showcase, including: Tauba Auerbach, Matthew Barney, Brendan Fowler (Issue 7), Richard Kern, Sean Landers, Ryan McGinley, Ryan McGinness, Richard Prince, Lawrence Weiner, and Kim Gordon, just to name a few. The artists will be allowed to pick the work of their choice to be displayed on their plinth.
