Vancouver-born, Berlin-based artist Max Simmer, who contributed to our latest Summer issue, has a show this Saturday evening at 91 Brandon Ave in Toronto. The exhibit also features new sculptures by Abby McGuane, Ben Schumacher, Georgia Dickie, Hugh Scott-Douglas, Liam Crockard (pictured above), and more.

Clint Roenisch is presenting Black To Back And Light, an exhibition pairing Toronto artists Jeremy Jansen and Niall McClelland with two works by Richard Serra and Ellsworth Kelly. The exhibition, almost entirely black or grey, will contain photographs, folded drawings, large photocopies, sculpture and more. It runs November 25th until December 19th. I can't wait!

Marguerite de Ponty is Urs Fischer's culmination of work from the past four years, currently on display at The New Museum, in New York. His perception-altering installations cover three floors of the building, and should definitely not be missed. The show runs until February 7th, 2010.
