There is an opening tonight at 107 Shaw: Simon McNally’s To the End of Possibility is his fourth solo exhibition, where he’ll be showing new paintings and sculptures. It starts at 7pm and runs until 16 September.

Heyscore at Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen

As mentioned a while back, renaissance man Samuel Nyholm, also known as SANY (see Joke, Issue 8), recently created the online gaming platform Heyscore.com with collaborator Ola Persson. The project will have its ‘world premiere’ this Friday, as a special guest at the Beni Bischof opening at Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen.

Peter Saville—Accessories To An Artwork

Peter Saville opens a new exhibition at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller in East Hampton next week with Accessories To An Artwork, as he displays his custom-designed minimal white plinths to showcase the works of invited artists to his showcase, including: Tauba Auerbach, Matthew Barney, Brendan Fowler (Issue 7), Richard Kern, Sean Landers, Ryan McGinley, Ryan McGinness, Richard Prince, Lawrence Weiner, and Kim Gordon, just to name a few. The artists will be allowed to pick the work of their choice to be displayed on their plinth.

Maggie Groat at 107 Shaw

Tonight marks the opening of Toronto artist Maggie Groat’s MFA thesis exhibit Studies for possible futures: The Moon and everything else at 107 Shaw Gallery. The show is said to contain souvenirs of Groat’s “cosmological inquiries, accidents and wonderings,” and will run till 27 August. Reception begins at 7pm.
