Burger Week has descended upon Toronto—various excellent burger joints across town are featuring amazing 'burgs for $5 a pop, until June 3. We just enjoyed a delicious burger from Union (one of our favourites) and we are very, very happy about it.
Norweigan filmmaker Jannicke Systad Jacobsen's coming-of-age film, Turn Me On, Dammit! is playing this week at the TIFF Lightbox and we're going to see it this evening. The film is an adaptation of Olaug Nilssen’s novel of the same name, and its final screening is this Thursday.
One of our Twitter faves, @NotTildaSwinton, has recently called it quits, replacing its feed of thoughtful musings with a tumblr site dedicated to upcoming "collaborations." We look forward to the future of NTS and will continue re-reading tweets of the past, such as: "Why do you insist on running with two legs? Do not believe the propaganda. Learn to run ferally, on all fours. Never be late again."
